Charles George Fay

Charles "Chuck" George Fay, Jr. of Scottsburg, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the age of 63. Born on September 22, 1958, in Toms River, NJ, he was the son of the late Grace Edmonstone Fay and the late Charles George Fay, Sr. Charles grew up in Brick Township, NJ and was a 1976 graduate of Brick Township High School. He was a truck driver with Danville Public Works but also a “jack of all trades” handyman. Charles will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving person with an infectious laugh. He was an animal lover; enjoyed “dad” jokes and visiting Atlantic City. Charles was the proud Dad and Poppy of daughters, Jaclyn Helle (Thomas) and Brianna Fay (Zach) and grandchild, Benjamin Helle. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Tina (Brian), Scott (Amy), Jourdain, and Morghain; Uncle, John Fay; cousins, Donna, Linda and Cathy; friends, Richard and Tina as well as lots of other family members and great friends. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Baby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Aunt Joyce and his dog, Ledge. Services will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
