Charles Thomas Ferguson

HALIFAX - Mr. Charles Thomas Ferguson of Halifax, VA died Tuesday, May 31, 2016. He was born in Gretna, VA on July 17 ,1943 to Doris Powell Ferguson and the late Reverend Isaac Paul Ferguson and was married to Jere Allred Ferguson. Charles retired from the Virginia National Guard and was most recently employed as a realtor with Long and Foster. Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife, Jere A. Ferguson; son, Chuck Ferguson and wife, Marcey; grandsons, Camden Powell Ferguson and Brooks Paul Ferguson; mother, Doris P. Ferguson; and sister, Sarah Pressley and husband, Michael. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with CH (COL) J.D. Moore, Senior Chaplin Virginia National Guard officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Halifax Co.
