Charles Henry "Buck" Russell, III, 87, husband of Lucy Lowery Russell, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at MeadowView Terrace. Buck was born August 27, 1925 to the late Charles Henry Russell, Jr. and Ella Louise Watkins Russell. He was a graduate of Clarksville High School and Virginia Polytechic Institute and he served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Russell was the retired owner/operator of Russell Supply Company. Graveside services will be 2PM Wednesday at Oakhurst Cemetery with the Reverend Jim Moss officiating. In addition to his wife, Mr. Russell is survived by his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Russell Creasey and her husband, Roy, of Farmville; son, Charles Henry Russell, IV and his wife Diane, of Baskerville; granddaughters, Mattison and Hadley Russell; and step grandchildren, Joe and Allie Creasey.
