Charles Edward Ingram

SOUTH BOSTON Mr. Charles Edward Ingram, Sr. passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the age of 71.He was born in Halifax County on May 14, 1950 to the late Ellis Jones Ingram, Sr and the late Audrey D. Conner Ingram. Charles was married to Jackie Epps Ingram and they were married for 45 years. Charles was retired from JP Stevens andloved collecting coins. He loved his family and his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Charles was a member of Winns Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Jackie, he is survived by children, Kelly Ingram (Shannon Clark) of Halifax and Charles Edward Ingram, Jr (Sabrina) of South Boston; grandchildren, Justin Clark, Jesse Ingram, Brianna Ingram and Joshua Keatts; siblings, Mary Gregory of Georgiaand David Ingram of Gladys, VA; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Hilda Martin and Clara Ingram; brother, Ellis Ingram. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Winns Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jim Kopco officiating.
