Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson, 79, widower of Anne Shirley Brown Johnson, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at Brighten Garden in Greensboro, NC. He was born in El Paso, Texas to Roy L. and Mary Mulligan Johnson on June 10, 1931. A graduate of Virginia Southside College, Charles was retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years of service and was a member of the VFW Post #8163. Memorial servies will be 2PM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the VFW in Clarksville, VA. He is survived by his brother, Thomas F. Johnson of High Point, NC and stepchildren, Kim Hall, Michael, David, Paul, Jon, Scott, and Steven Harris, 9 step-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
