Charles Edward Moore

Charles Edward Moore, 60, of Buffalo Junction, husband of Sandra Tuck Moore, died Thursday, August 24, 2006 at his home. A native of Clarksville, Charles was the son of Jessie Edward and Opal Morrison Moore. After retiring from Burlington Industries with 29 years service, he worked at the Lake Motel. His hobbies included raising goats and working with flowers. Funeral services will be 2PM Sunday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverends Kenneth Johnson and Rodney Barwick officiating. Interment will follow in Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery. In addition to his wife of 28 years, Charles is survived by his step-son, Ricky Cephas Overbey of Moseley; and grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Overbey of Moseley and Ricky C. Overbey, Jr. of Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends 7-9PM Saturday at the funeral home.
