Mr. Charlie Sanford ''C.S.'' Tillotson, Jr., 72, husband of Etta Jane Matthews Tillotson, died July 5, 2004 in Oxford. Born in Buffalo Junction, Mr. Tillotson was reared in Townsville and graduated from Stovall High School with the class of 1948. He was retired from Louisiana Pacific Lumber Company after many years of service. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Gary Brummitt at 11 AM Wednesday at Rock Spring Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to his wife of 54 years, Mr. Tillotson is survived by daughters Vickie Poole of Omega, VA; and Susan Annette Tillotson of Raleigh; son, Charlie Preston ''Chuck'' Tillotson of Clarksville; step-mother, Irene H. Tillotson of Stovall, NC; sisters, Clara Matthews of Henderson, and Ruby Smith of San Diego, CA; brothers, William Chesley Tillotson of Henderson and Douglas M. Tillotson of Kansas City, MO. Five grandchildren, one great-grandson, and two step-grandchildren also survive him. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30am until 11:00am in the church fellowship hall.
