Charlie Jearl Wiles

Charlie Jearl Wiles, 66, of Virgilina, VA passed away Friday, November 8, 2013. He was born May 19, 1947 in Mecklenburg County to the late John Henry and Willie Lee Parrott Emory Wiles. Charlie was co-owner of Wiles Floor Finishing Company and was an honorary member of the Virgilina Fire Department. Charlie was married to Jane Scott Wiles on October 17, 2003 at Nelson Baptist Church. Mr. Wiles is survived by his wife, brothers and sisters-in-law Payton and Ann Wiles of Nelson, Earl and Judy Wiles of Virgilina, and Floyd and Janice Wiles of Nelson; step-children Chris Kittrell of Virgilina, George Kittrell of Oxford, NC, and Courtney Reamey of Nelson and nine step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Ford. Memorial services will be held at Nelson Baptist Church on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by the Rev. Don Wilson and Rev. Norman Talley. Visitation will be Saturday, November 9 at 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, Clarksville Virginia.
