Charlotte Epps Lloyd

Mrs. Charlotte Epps Lloyd of 1130 Wagstaff Lane, Scottsburg, VA died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the age of 64. She was born in Halifax Co., VA on November 15, 1948 to the late Robert Booker Epps and the late Josie Landrum Epps and was married to Joe Lloyd. Mrs. Lloyd was retired from J.P. Stevens and was a member of Winns Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Joe Lloyd of Scottsburg, VA; a son, Chad Lloyd and wife, Sarah of Winchester, VA; a daughter, Donna Turner and husband, Tony of Alton, VA; four sisters, Dorothy Kinder of South Boston, VA, Connie Gail Womack and husband, Linsey of Halifax, VA, Jackie Ingram and husband, Charles of South Boston, VA, and Linda Hart and husband, Mike of Java, VA; a brother, Richard Epps and wife, Trudy of South Boston, VA; and five grandchildren, Hannah Lloyd, Sadie Lloyd, Alex Turner, Anthony Turner, and Lainey Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Brock Everett Lloyd. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 Am at Winns Creek Baptist Church with Rev. James Kopco and Rev. Barry Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Winns Creek Baptist Church on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home.
