Charlotte Church Neill

Mrs. Charlotte Church Neill, 85, wife of Henry R. Neill, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at her home in Danville. The Neills lived in Clarksville while he was employed at Burlington Industries in Clarksville. Charlotte was born on March 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Charlie and Debbie Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Neill is survived daughter Tandra Brown, grandchildren, Jess and Branch Lackes and M.E. Lacks -daughter-in-law; granddaughter, Chera Beth Norton and her husband, Tyler, and two great grandchildren, Haleigh and Cheyenne Norton. She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Lacks and grandchild, Shannon Brown. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt to her family. In addition to her parents, son, and grandchild, she was preceded in death by sisters, Edna C. Wright and Linda C. Shelton, of Keysville; Elizabeth Church Easley of Callands; brother, Arnie Church of Chatham; and a number of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. The family would like to thank Susan Collins, her caregiver, who loved her too, for taking such excellent care of her. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
