Cheryl Allen

Cheryl Lynn Allen of the Cluster Springs community passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the age of 59. She was born in Texas on May 28, 1965 and was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Earnest Allen and Phyllis Johnson Allen.

Cheryl was a graduate of Atlantic Christian College in Wilson, NC majoring in Deaf Education. She was employed with Waffle House for 26 years in Weldon, NC & Roanoke Rapids, NC and was a very dedicated employee with tremendous work ethics. Cheryl also had a love for her kitties.

She is survived by her life partner, Franklin Younger; step son, Andrew Thomas Younger (Ashley); grandson, Jake Michael Younger; sisters, Karen Grace (Tom) & Belinda Allen; nieces, Brittany Grace & Caitlin King (Steven); great nephew, Travis King; uncles, Carroll Johnson & Carl Paschal; and her beloved cat, Jinx.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Zak Ford officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service and other times at the home.
