Christie Fariss Hite

Mrs. Christie Fariss Hite, 34, wife of Stephen Edward Hite died Saturday morning at Halifax Regional Hospital. Christie was born in South Boston and reared in Buffalo Junction. She was a graduate of Bluestone High Class of 1992, received her BS from James Madison University and a Masters degree from Regent University. She most recently worked for REACH employee Assistance program as a counselor. She was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. A service celebrating Christie's life will be held Monday at 4 PM in the Gravel Hill Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. G.H. Vaughan and Rev. Scott Day. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving in addition to her husband are children Ruby Louise Hite, Samuel Hughes Hite and Noel Isaac Hite; parents Joe & Brenda Fariss of Buffalo Junction; sister Heather Gabe Crouch of Manakin Sabot; Parents in laws Larry & Peggy Hite of Nelson; sister in law Amy Peter Miano of Raleigh, NC; nieces Alden Penelope Crouch, Laci Miano, & Stephen Anthony Miano. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the funeral services. Contributions may be made to Patrick Henry Boys & Girls Plantation, P.O.
