Portsmouth, Va Clara Wilborn Thaxton, born November 20, 1931 passed peacefully to the Lord Friday, February 17, 2017.She was predeceased by her parents George E. and Lessie Morris Wilborn, Sr. and her husband James E. Thaxton.She leaves 7 brothers and sisters, 2 Daughters and 3 grandchildren.Although Clara died February 17, 2017 her spirit died January 31, 1988 when James the love of her life left this earth. Funeral services for Clara Thaxton will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Betty Jones Chapel with Reverend Randy Holmes officiating. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
