Clarence Richard Mcgee

Chase City, VA - Clarence Richard McGee, 81, died on Saturday, September 10, 2016.He was born on December 1, 1934 in Mecklenburg County, VA to the late Amber Lou Smith and the late Clinton Eugene McGee.He was preceded in death by his wives, Jean Carol Kite and Rita Thompson McGee.Mr. McGee served in the United States Air Force from 1954 – 1957.He was a heavy equipment mechanic and worked with Sydnor Hydrodynamics for 16 years. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Chase City. Mr. McGee is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Richard Dale and Jennifer McGee of Chase City and David Dewayne and Lisa McGee of Richmond, VA and his step daughter, Fran Dean and her husband, Rick of Gates, NC.He is also survived by his grandchildren Steven Dale McGee, Kaitlynn McGee, Richard McGee, David Dewayne McGee Jr., Denise McGee Smith and Melissa McGee Hall, by his sister Frances Seamans of Chase City, VA and by several great-grandchildren. Memorial services for Clarence Richard McGee will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mecklenburg County Cancer Association, P.O.
