Clarence Edward Smart

Clarksville, VA Mr. Clarence Edward Smart passed away on June 23, 2017 at the age of 70. He was born in Union County, SC on May 5, 1947 to the late Clarence Washington and Minnie Sparks Smart. A 1965 graduate of Bluestone High School, he served in the National Guard and was a security guard at Revlon. Mr. Smart is survived by daughters, Sarah Leigh Smart of Greensboro, NC and Heather Smart Smith (Antwon) of Clarksville; son, Tyler Edward Smart (Laura) of San Diego, CA; brother, Paul Smart of Rockingham, NC; grandchildren, Zoe Smith, Zane Smith, Theophilus Smart, Shephard Smart, and Anica Smart. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ryan Russell officiating.Burial will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery.
