South Boston, VA Mr. Clark David Daniel, Jr., of South Boston died Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the age of 52. Clark was born in Halifax County on May 11, 1963, the son of the late Clark David Daniel, Sr., and the late Gladys Baylous Daniel and was married to Melissa Willis Daniel. He was the owner and operator of Riverview Enterprises. Clark had a great love for racing, camping, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Clark David Daniel, Jr. is survived by his wife, Melissa W. Daniel of South Boston; children, Sara Daniel, Chance Daniel, McKenzie Daniel, and Lindsey Adams all of South Boston; grandchildren, Cameron Daniel, Daxton Holland, and Nathaniel Hughes; sister, Peggy Daniel of South Boston and two nephews. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Carol Willis of Alton; brothers-in law, Danny Willis, Jr., and wife Kim of South Boston and Dwayne Willis of Alton. Clark also had a number of special friends including Jimmy Wade, Jimmy “Squirrel” Haskins, Jeff “Head” Conner, Mark “Dinky” Clay, Kenneth Smith, Chris "Cuuuup" Crosby, Courtney Crosby, and his Elkhorn Lake camping family. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 21 at 2:00 PM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Greg Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
