Claude Lawrence Blanchard

Mr. Claude Lawrence Blanchard, 80, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at MeadowView Terrace in Clarksville. He was born June 16, 1931 in Montreal, Canada to the late Omar and Gilberte Duval Blanchard. Mr. Blanchard moved to the United States in 1951, living mostly in Arlington. In 2002, he relocated to southern Virginia to be near his daughters. He was a retired waiter. Memorial services will be 9:30 AM Thursday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Mr. Blanchard is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Petra and Bryan Haskins of South Boston, and Claudette Collat of Chatham. His grandchildren, Lia and Will Haskins, both of South Boston, also survive.
