Clavigen "Shelby" Robertson Keatts

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mrs. Clavigen “Shelby” Robertson Keatts passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the age of 80.Born in Halifax County on January 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Robertson and the late Hattie Davis Robertson Long and was married to the late Raymond Aaron Keatts, Sr. Shelby was a caregiver and housewife, loved life and people. She is survived by her six gems; Brenda Gayle, Sharon Kay, Belinda Rae, Raymond Jr., Temetra Diane “Tammy” and Kelly Ray; 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and numerous other family members. Funeral services for Mrs. Keatts will be Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel at 12:00 PM with Reverend Don Bryant and Reverend Donald Fourqurean officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home prior to the service and other times the home, 4040 East Hyco Road, South Boston, VA.
