Clifford Samuel Walker

Mr. Clifford Samuel Walker of 1049 Cluster Springs Rd., South Boston died Monday, March 8, 2010 at the age of 65. He was born in Halifax Co. on June 28, 1944 to the late William Thomas and Rosemond Whitt Walker and was married to Phyllis Alderson Walker. Mr. Walker was co-owner/operator of Walkers Auto Repair and was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Walker Whitlow & husband, David of Alton; a brother, Allen Walker & wife, Barbara of South Boston; a granddaughter, Hannah Ryan Whitlow; a grandson, Samuel Wade Whitlow; father-in-law,Harvey Alderson and mother-in-law, Eleanor Alderson, of South Boston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wendell Walker. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2 PM at Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Flood officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the home.
