Clinton Allen Hayes

Clinton Allen Hayes, 71, husband of Paige Glasscock Hayes, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 of Pulmonary Hypertension at Henrico Doctor's Hospital in the Asera Hospice. Native to Halifax and Mecklenburg Counties, Clinton was a graduate of Bluestone High School with the Class of 1956. In addition to his wife, Clinton is survived by his son, Jeffrey Scott Hayes of Glen Allen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Georgie Richard and Lila Glasscock Hayes, and his brother, Henry Hayes. Retiring in 2004, Clinton was a 33 year employee with F.G. Pruitt Contracting Company. He was a Site Supervisor. Clinton loved football to the highest limit, and he enjoyed visiting his friends in Clarksville. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Rodney Barwick officiating. Interment will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery. A reception to honor Clinton's memory will be held in the Spring.
