Cora Lorraine Williamson

OXFORD, NC Miss Cora ”Coco” Lorraine Williamson, daughter of Marie Weary Williamson and the late Julius Williamson, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the age of 55.She was born in Granville County, NC on June 17, 1963. Coco loved everyone and she never met a stranger. Her family was her devotion and she took care of all of her mama’s grandbabies and her nieces and nephews.She was always busy around the house, cleaning and taking care of family and friends.God welcomed home a special angel and Cora is happier in Heaven. Survivors are her mother, Marie W. Williamson; sisters, Brenda Vaughan (Wallace) of Grassy Creek, Marsha Wilson(Walter) of Oxford, Julie Teel (Gerald) of Grassy Creek, Rose Beane (Alan) of Wake Forest,and Cathy Gentry of Grassy Creek; brother, Julius Lee Williamson of Grassy Creek; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Grassy Creek Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
