Coy Lee Holt

SOUTH BOSTON - Mr. Coy Lee Holt passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at the age of 78. He was born in Person County, NC to the late Carry Holt and the late Josephine Jennings Holt and was married to Barbara Jean Morris Holt. Coy Lee was a member of Union Christian Churchand was self employed as a paint contractor. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar for the Lord. In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by a daughter, Tina Campbell and husband, Billy; grandson, Kelsey Campbell; granddaughter, Cori Campbell; great grandchildren, Kaleb and Paisley Campbell; brothers, Elwood Holt and wife, Betty of Roxboro, NC, Lonnie Holt of South Boston; sisters, Brenda Culley of South Boston, and Velma Barnhardt and husband, Howard of Burlington, NC; brother in law, Gearld Morris; sisters in law, Beatrice Buchanna, Cordilia S. Morris, Ann P. Morris and Astell C. Morris. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Adrian Holt and Claudi Holt; sisters, Judie Mae Canada, Nina Estes, and Helen Mangum. A celebration of life will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 3:00PM at Union Christian Church, Virgilina, VA with Rev. Norman Talley officiating.
