Daisy Lee Conner Milam

Ms. Daisy Lee Conner Milam, of 370 Tanglewylde Drive, South Boston died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the age of 70. She was born August 8, 1940 in Halifax County to the late Melvin Conner and the late Martha Jones Conner, and was a retired weaver for Burlington Industries. Survivors include one son, Tony Milam and his wife, Dawn of South Boston, VA; one daughter, Teresa Barnett and her husband, Barry, also of South Boston; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, John Conner, and one sister, Clara Conner, both of South Boston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Milam; four brothers and three sisters. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, September 7, at 2 PM at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home Monday, September 6 from 7 until 8:30 pm and at other times at the home of Tony and Dawn Milam, 2300 Parker Avenue, South Boston.
