Dale William Schuhmacher

Dale William Schuhmacher, 79, husband of Barbara Lee Schuhmacher, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center in Durhan, NC. Born and reared in Glenwood, MN, Dale was the son of the late Willie and Friedericka Prottengeier Schuhmacher. While living in Glenwood, Dale was a dairy farmer, welder and truck driver before retiring and moving to Clarksville in the early 1990's. He loved woodworking, gardening, and working as a volunteer at the Food Pantry. In addition to his wife, Mr. Schuhmacher is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and David Minchew of Buffalo Junction and son and daughter-in-law, Michael Lee and Kathy Schuhmacher of Mayer, AZ. His brother, Raymond Schuhmacher of Portland, Oregon and grandchildren, David Brian Minchew, Christopher Jon Schuhmacher and Candace Anne Schuhmacker also survive. A Memorial service will be held 11 o'clock AM Saturday at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church with The Reverend Susan Grimm officiating. The family will be receiving friends at their home.
