Dalton Lee Barbour

Oxford, NC - Dalton Lee Barbour, 76, died on Monday, January 25, 2016. He was born in Johnston County, NC on May 2, 1939 to the late Carl and Lois Stevens Barbour.Dalton attended High View Baptist Church in Roxboro.He was a retired truck driver with Georgia Pacific. He is survived by his wife, Janice Griffin Barbour, his son, Kenneth Sherman Barbour, and his brother and sister in law, Dannie and Joy Barbour of Butner, NC.In addition, he is survived by granddaughters, Kaitlyn Perry of Greenville, NC and Kimberly Hodges of New Bern, NC and great-grandchildren, Taylor Perry and Blake Hodges.Mr. Barbour was preceded in death by Elizabeth Bonollo and Dennis Gordon Barbour. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at High View Baptist Church in Roxboro, NC with the Reverend Avery Dalton officiating. Arrangements are by Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
