Danny Thomas Sizemore

South Boston Mr. Danny Thomas Sizemore of South Boston passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at the age of 64. Born in Halifax County on August 14, 1956 he was the son of the late Elwood Gravitt Sizemore and the late Bertha Alease Carver Hayes and was married to Vicky Hackney Sizemore, who survives. Danny was a great mechanic and loved his Harley's. He was an amazing father and grandfather, who will be greatly missed. In addition to his wife, Vicky, he is survived by a daughter, Brandy Sizemore; son, Jason Sizemore and Angela King; grandchildren, Jamie Sizemore, Mikayla Hudson, and Cody Sizemore; step children, Ronnie Rice Jr and Jennifer and Jake Rice and Jessica; special neighbor, Kim Adkins; sister-in-law, Janice Spangler and mother-in-law, Myrtle Spangler; and a special buddy, Chachi. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger Sizemore. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel.
