Danny Edward Vest

SOUTH BOSTON Mr. Danny Edward Vest passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Born in Danville, VA on June 29, 1947, he was the son of Homer Edward Vest and Hettie Preston Tuck Vest. Danny served his country in the United States Army, having enlisted at the age of 18. He was formerly employed at Boones Equipment as the shop foreman. He is survived by his siblings, Mory Vest and Lucy of Scottsburg, Bobby Vest of Java, Carol Vest Mulchi of South Boston; nieces, Samantha Vest, Amanda Mulchi, Melissa Mulchi, Megan Mulchi and Ashley Vest; nephew, Bobby Vest, Jr; 3 great nephews, 6 great nieces and special friends, Tony and Linda Tuck. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Tuck Family Cemetery, Pittsville Road, Gretna. VA.
