Darlene Covington Osborne

Darlene Covington Osborne, 84, of Richmond passed away on August 21. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 36 years, George S. Osborne, her brothers, Earl and Clarence Covington, and her sister and best friend, Polly Bradley.

Darlene is loved and remembered by her son, George G. Osborne (Angie) of Carolina Beach, NC; daughter, Greta Osborne Satterfield (Edward) of Richmond; and three grandchildren, Madelyn and Joseph Ippolito and Reagan Osborne. Her constant companion in later years was her dog, Daisy.

Darlene was a faithful church member all of her life, treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed watching Nationals baseball games while on long distance calls with her sister.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 30th at 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Cemetery in South Boston with the Reverend Bill Boelte officiating.
