Darrell Glynn Walker, a native of Central Florida, passed away July 21, 2020 at the age of 65. He was born on June 15, 1955 in Hahira, Georgia and spent his childhood causing a ruckus in Bowling Green, Florida with the BG Bombers. Darrell found his calling as a journeyman lineman and was a member of IBEW. During his career, he spent over 30 years in the Midwest and down the East coast where he met many friends that became family along the way.Darrell cherished his family, especially his grandkids. He loved spending time at the beach and riding his Harley with his wife, Cindy. His buddy Cooper was never far from his side. Darrell also enjoyed gardening and took great pride in his vegetables and beautiful flowers. He was an unwavering Florida Gator fan that cheered them on no matter the outcome. Darrell leaves behind his devoted wife of 37 years, Cindy; daughter, Jessica (Jason) North; son, Matthew (Jordan) Walker; granddaughters, Olivia and Avery; grandsons,Luke and Liam; and siblings, Vivian Megronigle, Joseph (Cindy) Walker, Don Walker, Ron (Kim) Walker, Mona (Bill) Crean, and Naomi (Randy) Clanton.He will be lovingly remembered by the rest of his extended family and his friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Hendricks and Versie Smith Walker, and his siblings Elaine Walker, Dale Walker, and Margaret Anderson. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to The Tim Tebow Foundation in honor of Darrell Walker.
