David Harold Pulliam

David Harold Pulliam, 56, son of Alma Bray Sibley of Clarksville and Harold M. Pulliam deceased, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August, 28, 2014. He was the grandson of the late Stephen and Elsie Pulliam, Raymond and Mabel Dawksho and Billy and Cline Champion. David obtained his B.S degree in Electrical Engineering at Old Dominion University. His working career included Progress Energy where he was an I.N.C.; Project Manager with Power Industrial Consultants, where he later became Director of Projects; and in 2010 he founded Southside Mechanical, Inc. where he was President. He was a lifetime member of Midway Volunteer Fire Department, Virgilina Volunteer Fire Department and was a past Representative of the Halifax County Fire Commission. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Monday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverends Don Wilson, Norman Talley and Mike Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Hitesburg Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Sunday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
