Dean Conner

SCOTTSBURG, VA Mr. Norman Dean Conner passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the age of 60.Born in Halifax County, he was the son of the late William Rufus Conner and the late Gracie Saunders Wilson and was married to Tracey Wilmouth Conner. Dean operated Dean Conner Excavation and was a member of Fork Baptist Church. Mr. Conner is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tracey Wilmouth Conner; daughters, Lorrie Conner of Buffalo Junction and Katie Conner of Scottsburg; son, Corrie Conner of Scottsburg; sisters, Gaye Capstick (Elmer) of Missouri and Patricia Martin ( Eddie) of Winns Creek; and brother, Chuck Conner of Cluster Springs. He was preceded in death by brothers, Granville Conner, Billy Conner, Jr. and Roy Conner; nephew, Clarence Conner, Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Fork Baptist Church at 5:00 PM with The Reverend Kenneth Warfield officiating.
