Deborah Mullins Mcghee

SOUTH BOSTON - Mrs. Deborah Mullins McGhee (Debbie) passed away from cancer on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the age of 64.Born in Mansfield, OH, on July 20, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Roy Milford Mullins and Lilla “Peggy” Mullins. Debbie graduated from Irvington High School in Southwest Virginia, and was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church in South Boston, Virginia. In addition to her loving husband, Allen Lloyd McGhee, Debbie is survived by her daughter, Meagan Martin and her husband, Anthony; her grandchildren, Jax Allen Martin and Lila Grace Martin; her mother, Lilla “Peggy” Mullins; her sister, Kathy Ringley and husband Ronnie; and her nephew, C. Justin Ringley and wife, Jessica and their children, Chloe, Brady, and the late Christopher Ringley. In addition to the outpouring of love for her grandchildren, Debbie’s passions extended into the outdoors.Her favorite activities included cycling, strolling the beaches of the Carolinas, and hiking her favorite forest trail to the Cascades in Giles County. She loved the peaceful solitude of her cabin along Wolf Creek at the McGhee farm in Giles County. Celebrations of life and happiness will be announced by the family at a future date. In lieu of flowers, Debbie’s family prefers donations in her honor to the Main Street United Methodist Church, 701 North Main Street, South Boston, VA 24592.
