Dennis Eugene Smallwood

CLARKSVILLE, VA. Dennis Eugene Smallwood, 64, husband of Debi Ballard Smallwood, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home.He was born April 3, 1950 in Waynesboro to the late Nelson Roudnal and Lutie Clark Smallwood.A graduate of Waynesboro High School, Utah State, BYU, Averett University, Gene was owner and operator of King Video and Aloha Tan, and also Beyond Tax.Funeral services will be 2pm Friday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with interment to follow in Oakhurst Cemetery.In addition to his wife, Mr. Smallwood is survived by his children, Dawn Smallwood of Richmond, Jennifer Clark of Fayetteville, NC, Dennis Smallwood of Eagle Point, UT, Michael Smallwood of Raleigh, NC, Mark Smallwood and Brady Smallwood, both of Bentonville, AR, and Mary Susan Jenkins of Stanford, CA.His step-children, Tabitha Thacker of Efland, NC, Erika Thacker of LaCrosse and Amber Clark of Clarksville; siblings, Joice Faie Weyerman of Middleton, ID, Keith Simmons of Ringgold, Jane Pugh of Richmond, Don Simmons of Austin, TX and Richard Lee of New York, and eighteen grandchildren also survive.The family will receive friends 6:30-8:30 Thursday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
