Deron Jamal Traynham

Mr. Deron Jamal "Big Took" Traynham passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 33. Born in Halifax County on August 9, 1989, he was the son of the late Marshall Yancey and the late JoAnn Traynham.

Deron was very proud of his accomplishment in earning his GED and was currently taking classes. He enjoyed cooking and listening to music in his free time.

He is survived by his siblings, Kevin Traynham, Lashawn Traynham, Marshall Traynham, Shanna Luck, Deon Traynham and Jessica Traynham; special family member, Gloria Stewart; 9 nieces & nephews; 4 aunts & 1 uncle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Sonya Hubbard and Marshall Bowman.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 2-5 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
