Diana Flesner Shields

Diana Flesner Shields of South Boston passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the age of 68.  She was born in California on December 11, 1955 to the late George Flesner and the late Patricia Smith Flesner.  She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Edwin Shields of the home.

Diana loved camping with her family and enjoyed working in her flower beds.  She especially enjoyed being with her husband when they went to the gun club.  Diana’s life was a testimony to the power of kindness and empathy, and her influence will continue to echo in the lives of those she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; daughter, Jennifer Calderon (Ryan); granddaughter, Keira; sisters, Linda Flesner and Carla Ferron (Scott).

A  Celebration of Life  in memory of Diana will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Halifax County Gun Club, 6200 Philpott Road, South Boston, VA.
All those that knew Diana are welcome to attend and share their memories of Diana.
