Donald Carl Szalkowski

Clarksville, VA - Donald Carl Szalkowski, husband of Agatha Madura Szalkowski, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the age of 80.He was born in Irvington, NJ on April 7, 1936 to the late Felcia Wilk Szalkowski and the late Benedict John Szalkowski.Mr. Szalkowski was retired from a career in banking and was a member of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Clarksville. Don is survived by his wife, Agatha Madura Szalkowski; son, Donald Szalkowski, Jr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Frank Budzinski, Debbie and Stephen Zmuda, Diane and Robert Ahrens and grandchildren, Danny Zmuda (Emma), Eric Zmuda, Nicolas Zmuda, Caitlin Ahrens, Casey Ahrens and Corianne Ahrens. A memorial service for Donald Carl Szalkowski will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, VA23927.The Reverend Jane Lyon will be officiating.
