Dora Mise Lacks

Mrs. Dora Mise Lacks of 2090 Calvary Rd., Alton, VA died on December 5, 2011 at the age of 91. She was born on September 14, 1920 in Halifax Co., VA to the late James Randolph Mise and the late Nancy Williamson Mise and was married to the late Charles Eldridge Lacks. Mrs. Lacks was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Disabled American Veteran's, and the AARP. She was the last of 8 children surviving. Survivors include, a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Lacks was preceded in death by one son, Reginald Ryland Lacks. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Calvary United Methodist Church with Rev. Ann Davidson officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will follow at Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery.
