Doris Whitlow Chapman

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mrs. Doris Whitlow Chapman passed away at Meadowview Terrace on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.Born in Halifax County on February 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Herman Whitlow and the late Ada Taylor Whitlow and was married to the late Charlie Lee Chapman, Jr. Doris was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and formerly worked with Russell Stover Candy. She is survived by a son, Michael Chapman of Randleman, NC and a sister, Marie Conner of Richmond, Va. Funeral services for Mrs. Chapman will be Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Harmony United Methodist Church.Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00 – 2:00 PM, at the church.
