Doris Gayle Rickman Reaves

VIRGILINA Gayle Rickman Reaves went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born in Halifax County on May 30, 1942 and was the daughter of the late John and Rosa Banton Rickman. Gayle was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and loved Sunday Schooland all the people there. Her motto was "She loved." Leaving to cherish her memories is a daughter, Wendy Thomason (Carroll) of Virgilina; grandson, Matthew Shane Thomason; great grandchildren, Matthew, Chase, and Willow; sister, Janet Childrey and numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Emma Lea Cook, Elsie Gershbar, Ann Crawford, Eleanor Conner, Helen Snarley, John Rickman and Gilbert Rickman.
