Clarksville, Virginia Doris Lovine Polozeck Talbott, widow of Lawrence J. Talbott, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born in Monteola, Texas on November 20, 1929 to the late Charles L. and Beatrice Hoover Polozeck. Lovine was a retired bookkeeper with the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS). She loved anything and everything outdoors, particularly breeding, training and riding horses; as she was still trail riding at the age of 82. She also was talented at painting and needlepoint. Lovine loved to travel and made an annual pilgrimage to Cherokee, NC and Las Vegas. She loved spending time with her friends, had a soft spot for her dogs and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She lived life on her own terms. In addition to her husband and parents, Lovine was predeceased by a son, Paul D. Talbott. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Mark Hairston of Clarksville; sons and daughter-in-law, Russell J. and Donna Talbott of Clarksville and Dennis L. Talbott of Saxe; grandchildren, Justin Hairston, Ashley Hairston, Lt. Ryan Hairston (Miranda), Lauren Hill (Jon) and Kevin J. Talbott (Mary) as well as six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence on Wednesday, April 4 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. In lieu of food and flowers, it is requested that a donation be made to the charity of choice.
