Dorothy Stevenson Finn

The Reverend Dorothy Stevenson Finn, 48, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at MeadowView Terrace in Clarksville. The daughter of Florence I. Finn and Eugene H. Finn, deceased, Dorothy was a graduate of Upper Darby Senior High in Drexel Hill, PA with the class of 1979. She continued her education and graduated from Millersville State College in Millersville, PA with a major – BA in history in 1983; Union Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 1989; and Presbyterian School of Christian Education, Master of Christian Education in 1990. Following graduation from Millersville, Dorothy worked for the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine for several years. From 1990-1993 she was the Assistant Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville, TN; 1995-2003 she was Pastor of Maysville/New Church Presbyterian in Buckingham Courthouse, VA; and in 2003 she came to Clarksville Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be 2PM Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Clarksville Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will be 1PM Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, PA. In addition to her mother, Dorothy is survived by her brother, David Finn, and sister and brother-in-law, Elfie and Michael Finn-McKenzie. Her nieces, Kristin Finn-McKenzie Lam and her husband Patrick; and Bethany Finn-McKenzie also survive her. Please consider memorial donations to the following: Heifer International, P.O.
