Dorothy Martonick Pavelchak

SCOTTSBURG, VA Mrs. Dorothy Martonick Pavelchak passed away in South Boston, VA on November 28, 2014. She was born on October 19, 1919 in Trenton, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Pavelchakand daughter of the late John and Mary Martonick of Trenton, NJ. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth and wife, Karen of Lexington, KY with 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, Joseph of Scottsburg, VA with 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, Lawrence of Trenton, NJ, and sisters, Lorraine Dobron of Trenton and Mary Wiechelt of Buffalo, NY. Dorothy grew up and lived in Trenton, NJ prior to moving to Scottsburg, VA in 2008. Dorothy, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother loved flowers and traveling. A devoted Catholic all her life, Dorothy was a member of St. Paschal's Church in South Boston, VA. A Funeral Mass will be said at St. Paschal's Church on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 9:30 AM. Interment will be held in Trenton, NJ. Visitation will be held at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 2 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Paschal's Church, Capital Improvement, 800 John Randolph Blvd., South Boston, VA 24592.
