Dorothy Simmons Robbins

Clarksville, VA - Dorothy Simmons Robbins, wife of the late Marvin Floyd Robbins, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at the age of 82. She was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on October 18, 1937, to the late George Robert Simmons and the late Elizabeth Tuck Simmons. Mrs. Robbins was retired from Russell Stover Candy Factory. She was a member of Union Christian Church. Mrs. Robbins is survived by her daughter, Maxine Ann Knight (Randy) of Fort Payne, AL; son, George Allen Parson of Alberta, VA; grandchildren, Elenor Hopkins (Tim), Charity Knight, Joshua Knight and great grandchildren, Dylan and Savannah Hopkins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Burton; son, Cephus Eugene Parson and her first husband, Cephus Junior Parson. Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, August 24 at Bluestone Cemetery with the Reverend Norman Talley officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.wclfh.com.
