Dorothy Sheperd Trent

Dorothy Sheperd Trent, 78, passed away on June 24, 2012. Dorothy was daughter of Jessie Sheperd and Hattie Kilby Sheperd born on February 2, 1934 and reared in Wilkes County, NC. She was married to John Clifton Price and Elton Trent, both having preceded her by death. Mrs. Trent was employed by Craddock and Terry for ten years and also worked for the American Drew Furniture Company. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the residence of her daughter, Carolyn Smith, 228 Fields Church Road, Boydton, VA 23917. Dorothy is survived by sons Gwyn Allen Sipes of Palmer Springs, Chester Herman Price of Clover, and John Clifton Price, Jr. of Skipwith. She is also survived by daughters Carolyn Sipes Smith of Boydton, Ella Sue Dunn of Oxford, NC and Lorene Price Estep of North Wilkesboro, NC. Dorothy also is survived by her sister Margie Bowlin of North Wilkesboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, five sisters and one son. Her nine Grandchildren and fifteen Great Grandchildren also survive.
