Bullock, NC - Mr. Earl Edward Proffitt, 79, formerly of Grassy Creek, departed this life on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Brantwood Nursing in Oxford, NC. Mr. Proffitt leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Shelby Elliott Proffitt, five daughters, Melisa Keiser, Idabelle Proffitt, Cynthia Proffitt, Nancy Proffitt and Shelly Proffitt; two sons, Edward Proffitt and Edmond Proffitt; 14 loving grandchildren and 14 loving great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church, 6910 Raleigh Road, Kittrell, NC.
