Eddie Arnold Gasque

Halifax, VA Mr. Eddie Arnold Gasque 68 of Halifax County Virginia, died Friday, February 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at his home after battling a long illness. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 48 years, Linda J. Gasque; devoted father to sons, Craig Darren Gasque (Robin Eden) and Kevin Dean Gasque and daughter in law Ade Peace Gasque; loving grandfather to Shelby, Cody, and Hailey; and dear brother Edward Gasque and wife Gloria; with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was born in Aynor, South Carolina on April 15, 1948, the son of the late tobacco farmer Nollie F. Gasque and Lora Williamson Gasque and married to Linda Jacobson Gasque. Eddie Gasque dedicated his life to his family. A Vietnam War veteran, Eddie was a retired Command Master Chief in the U.S. Navy serving over 26 years of service. Mr. Gasque greatest passions in life were; his love for animals, enjoying his time outdoors, traveling, camping and spending countless hours at the beach and lake. Funeral services will held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
