Eleanor Logan Robinson, 98, widow of Walter William Robinson, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Halifax Regional Hospital.She was born September 11, 1916 in Ramsey, New Jersey to the late Lewis Faichney and Ruth Nelson Logan.A retired nurse, Eleanor was also an administrator with the Girl Scouts of America for many years.She was the owner of Petal Products and was an art instructor.Her hands were always busy, either working with ceramics or painting.Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, February 13, 2015 in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Jane Lyon officiating.Interment will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery.Mrs. Robinson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward “Robbie” and Mary Robinson of Clarksville and daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Carl Engvall of Suffolk.Her 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and brother, Richard Logan of Livingston, NJ also survive.She was preceded in death by her sisters, Audrey Hauser, Jean MacDonald and Edith Kooken and brothers, Jack Logan and Robert Logan.The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, starting at 12:30 pm.
