Eli Franklin"Frank" Hudson

VIRGILINA Mr. Eli Franklin “Frank” Hudson of Hogan Road passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 76. Born in Halifax County on July 10, 1944, he was the son of Robert A. Hudson and Hallie Lowery and was married to Wanda Gail Hudson for 35 years. Frank was a maintenance supervisor for Russell Stover candy factory for 35 years and a maintenance supervisor for Halifax County School System for 17 years and was a hard- working man his whole life. He loved rabbit hunting. He was a good husband, daddy and granddad; his granddaughters were the apple of his eye. In addition to his wife Wanda, he is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Whitlow (Bobby); granddaughter, Ella Mae Whitlow; step granddaughter, Scarlett Wooding; sisters, Betty Rose Blanks, Jerrie Wilmouth, and Gloria Faye Bottom; and brothers, “CJ” Hudson and Bradley Hudson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. The family will have a Private Service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the lake. However, they will be receiving friends at the home, 1154 Hogan Road, Virgilina, VA.
