Elnora Wallen Duffey

Elnora Wallen Duffey, 90, passed away suddenly in Morgantown, WV on 26 May 2023. She was born on 10 March 1933 in Clover, Virginia to the late Claude “Tom” and Odell Powell Wallen. She married Archer Bailey Duffey on Christmas Eve 1951 and had one, son Wallace “Wally” Bailey Duffey both of whom preceded her in death.
She was a member of Clover Baptist Church. Since her retirement from Clover Yarns, she became an avid reader who enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and working on her word search puzzles.
She was also preceded in death by ten siblings: Junior Claude, Jessie Rosetta (McKinney), John Edward, Ruby Elsie (Martin), George Henry, James Phillip, Roy Ellis, Sarah Rebecca (Hudson), Odell Parlee (Langford), and Dorothy Glenda Wallen. She is survived by one sister, Anne Wallen of Charlotte Court House, numerous other family members, and many friends.
The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral home on Saturday, 3 June 2023 at 5-7 pm and a ceremony will be held at Clover Baptist Church on 4 June 2023 at 2 pm followed by interment at Clover Cemetery.
