Elsie Shepherd Keeton

Mrs. Elsie Shepherd Keeton, 69, widow of Amos Britt Keeton, died Friday morning at Meadowview Terrace in Clarksville. Mrs. Keeton was native to Wilkes County, NC and moved to Buffalo Junction in the late 1950's. She was the loving mother of two daughters Dolly JamesChandler of Clarksville and Lisa David Keeton of Buffalo Junction and a son Andy Jackie Keeton of Boydton. In addition she has two sisters Dorothy and Margie and two grandchildren Jasmine Keeton & Chad Chandler; brother in law Hoover Keeton; numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday 2 PM in the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Rodney Barwick. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.
